Regarding Fiction Exchanges

To that end, you can use a few strategies:
- The easiest one is simply don't mention that your fic is an exchange gift. That's usually enough to maintain your anonymity.
- If you think that won't be enough, you can also post to this exchange using a sock/throwaway account that isn't easily traceable to you. That way, even if someone realizes you're writing a fic for a specific exchange, they won't be able to tell who you are.
- As an alternative to #2, you may also ask someone else to post your beta-reader request to this community on your behalf. These kind go-betweens are often called Hippos in the world of exchanges. You can find your own go-between, or if you'd like to offer your Hippo services, kindly comment on this post so that people can reach out to you.
