Notes: Buddha Cafe is a Japanese webcomic about a cafe run by Buddhist monks. It's generally lighthearted with frequent educational tidbits about different Buddhist concepts. For this particular fic, no knowledge of the comic or of Buddhism is required; I've tried to explain salient details as succinctly as possible in the narrative. I'm more in need of a sensitivity reader for the trans character.

This was originally planned as a fluffy wish-fulfillment thing, though it's become somewhat angsty; I need an extra set of eyes to check if the emotional core of the story makes sense. I'm about halfway done with the second draft (past the 2000-word mark).

I'm also looking for a beta reader for my Kannazuki no Miko (KnM) fanfic. It's already up on FF.net and currently 21 chapters are up. I need someone who knows the anime/manga VERY WELL and can give ideas as to how to improve the story. I got someone already for the grammar and punctuation part, so that's not much of a concern. The fanfic is a multi-chapter one and it averages around 7,000 words per chapter. Over 130,000 words have been done. So this is a very big fanfic.

I'd need you to read about 2000 words total --- actually the fic is about 1000 words, but I have two complete versions of it and I'd like to know which one you like better as well as SPAG, flow, canon compliance, and general reactions.

Summary: Natsume is haunted by recurring dreams that he's drowning. He and Nyanko-Sensei have set out to investigate when a mysterious youkai appears --- one who knows the problem lies in Natsume's past and needs Tanuma's help to put things right before it's too late.

Notes: Complete draft in two parts, approx. 28,000 words total. I plan to post a final version at the end of March.
