Would you like to be a beta reader for a Gravity Falls billford fic? It would be super helpful to have another set of eyes on what I have so far. The unpublished chapter is 487 words, subject to change. The preceding fics total to 1,160 words.

I need help with tying all the concepts in the outline together, and figuring out whether it is cohesive. I prefer someone who has seen the show, so that they can analyze characterization, but the wiki is also an acceptable way to bring yourself up to speed. BillFord is a hero/villain ship.

I'm not sure what else needs to be warned for, but I do worry about impressions of emotional abuse, so if that squicks you out, I'd suggest passing on this one.

I’d like to publish the chapter sometime in August 2020. If you’re willing to provide input for more than what I have listed here, we can talk about that when the time comes up. If you just want to give your thoughts and go, that’s cool too.

Notes: the canon this fic is for is distinctly SFF (it's the spiritual grandkid of Sailor Moon and Wonder Woman), but that should not make any of the parts I'm worried about any different from how they'd be in a present-day-France no-speculative-elements story. (sans coronavirus.)

the scene's action is someone having a heart attack and a couple of people with CPR training and an AED working to save him; the PoV character is one of the latter, and nobody dies in this story. (probably.) I know American Heart Association changed a relevant mnemonic from ABC to CAB, and because of reasons I don't care, but if there's any other inaccuracies, I want to know.

Estimated Fic Length: ~2500 words; still tweaking, so may be a little longer or shorter.

Notes: The Mulan part is AU and the Quantum Leap part is pre-canon, so I don't think in-depth canon knowledge for either fandom is required. In order to bring these two characters together I transplanted Mulan into a more contemporary setting and wrote her meeting Al in Vietnam during the war, and in this story she is part of the ethnic Chinese community in Vietnam and assimilated. I want to make sure I'm representing both cultures respectfully and as accurately as possible, so looking for a beta with knowledge of Chinese and/or Vietnamese culture who can spot cultural inaccuracies, representation issues, bias, stereotypes, etc.

Notes: Look, it's a tiny fandom, so I don't care you don't know the canon if you don't; I'm comfortable with my characterizations and char Voices. Beta is needed for sp&g and some readability restructuring: I'm an ESL speaker who usually passes for native and plays around with syntax a lot, so comfort with long sentences and an ability to discern between "non-grammatical", "readiability concern" and "stylistically unfavored" are necessary. Notes: There are multiple minor original male characters. The fic basically focuses on Pearl being jealous of all the other humans Rose Quartz has ever been interested in. The story is set pre-canon so there aren't really any spoilers.

The fic is only halfway done; aside from the usual spelling and grammar checks, I'm looking for someone to give feedback on whether characters are OOC or not and comment on the story's flow. I don't mind harsh critiques :3

Hello! I'm ESL and mostly need a beta for grammar/syntax/phrasing/vocabulary nitpicking on a few short one-shot. I already found a volunteer for some but not all of them and anyway I figured another go just ot be sure couldn't hurt?
All of these one-shot are between 500 and 1000-word long. A content beta would be appreciated as well, but I'm afraid I'm not able yet to rewrite the fics, so any remarks would be stored and kept in mind for the next time I write about the same characters. So far they're all posted on my personal journal and should be republished on AO3 and FF.Net if I can get them betaed and the assurance that they're at least grammatically correct. If you feel up to the task, you can either comment directly on the posts or send me a PM.
